متن نمایشنامهPLAY TEXT

In Motherfucker Play, Javad Kavandi enters a world in which the body, before it can become a territory of desire and experience, is a battleground for the exercise of power. It is a world where people inflict pain on one another not necessarily out of malice, but as participants in a destructive order, sometimes becoming so accustomed to violence that the boundaries between life and punishment, intimacy and humiliation, choice and coercion begin to dissolve.

What distinguishes this play from a merely bleak narrative is its refusal to take refuge in ready-made moral judgments or comforting answers. Rather than casting his characters as innocent victims or absolute villains, Kavandi leaves them suspended within a world where no one stands entirely outside the structures of power, and no suffering becomes bearable simply because it has been named or met with pity. Here, the human being appears in all its contradictions: capable of suffering and inflicting suffering, yearning for liberation while participating in the reproduction of the very order that holds it captive.

Motherfucker Play seeks to approach those dimensions of human experience that conventional language, official morality, and respectable narratives prefer to conceal. It is an unflinching confrontation with violence, desire, humiliation, and loneliness, set in a world where others sometimes recognize a person’s existence only after that person has been destroyed.

This is a play written not to comfort its audience, but to unsettle it.
